I work between fields, because people’s lives do too.

I am a social epidemiologist by training and an innovation researcher by inclination. I earned my Doctor of Science at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focusing on social epidemiology and health communication, then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in maternal and child health and digital health at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health.

My professional path has moved deliberately between academic, healthcare, and technology settings. At Meta, I led strategic and tactical user experience research for a new community product. As a research scientist at For Goodness Sake, I led research informing the development of OMGYES, translating evidence about women’s sexual pleasure into practical, end-user-centered resources.

At The Better Lab within the UCSF Department of Surgery, I directed research strategy across human-centered healthcare projects. I worked to ensure that the experiences and insights of patients, providers, and communities remained at the center of healthcare innovation, while building the mixed-methods evidence needed to make those insights actionable.

Across these roles, I have tried to bridge rigorous research with practical solutions designed for and with the people who will use them. My approach combines qualitative depth with quantitative reach, moving between interviews, surveys, ethnographic observation, natural language processing, product research, and human-centered design.
